MINIATURE DONKEYS - 2 spotted white/gray jenny's. Lulu is 11 years old and stands 32 3/4". She is a character - whenever you go into their pasture she starts backing up to you as she loves to have her "back side" scratched. She is very quiet and friendly. Dixie, 5 years old, is Lulu's daughter and is out of a 28 3/4" spotted white/grey jack. She stands 32" loves attention and if she see's you in the yard will give her 'begging" bray. They are almost idential in their spot markings. They are registered with The American Donkey and Mule Society, Lewisville TX, are up to date with vaccinations, hoof trims etc. Maxx (LN Maxx's Darvu) has been our herd sire for the last 7 years, he was born 3/31/05. He is black, shows no dorsal stripe and stands 31 3/4". He too is very gentle and friendly. He is regstered and up to date on shots etc also.
We have bred donkeys for many years and disposition has always been a top priority. They make wonderful pets, are used for therapy for physically challenged persons, hitched to a cart they are fun, and they are also used as "babyditters" for horses. Because of health reasons we are trying to down-size our herd and will no longer be doing any breeding. Our motto is "Everyone should have a mini donk once in their life" - they are just so loveable!
